HOW TO MAKE RASPBERRY MOJITO MOCKTAIL
Place fresh raspberries, lime and sweetener in a glass of your choice. Using a muddler, muddle until the juice is released from the berries and lime. Get raspberries into a mush like consistency so that small pieces can fit through a straw.
Clap the mint in your hands a few times to release the oils and scent. This will help enhance the minty-ness of a virgin mojito. Place them in the glass and press gently with the muddler 3 times.
Fill the glass with ice and soda water. Garnish with extra raspberries, lime and mint leaves. Serve and enjoy!
TIPS FOR SUCCESS
-
Use fresh mint leaves instead of frozen ones. That way, fresh mint is key for that cooling, minty flavor and will enhance the mocktail.
-
If you’d like to experiment with flavors and colors, you can add some blueberries and strawberries to the mix. It will give this mocktail a slightly different flavor profile and color too.
-
Instead of muddling the raspberries, you can also blend together the raspberries, lime and sweetener of your choice to make it easier for you. Muddling (or blending) is an important step that helps release the berry’s flavor.
-
To top the mocktail off, you can use a virgin mojito mix, club soda or lemon-lime soda, such as Sprite or 7UP.
RECIPE FAQ’S
